Spelling Each week we complete one unit of spelling from our book Houghton and Mifflin Spelling and Vocabulary. We will learn our new words through classifying by parts of words, analogies, proofreading, and more. The two websites below will help you memorize and learn both the proper spelling and definitions to our weekly words.

**On the Houghton and Mifflin website you will find a variety of tools for each unit’s spelling list like word finds, creating word cards, and word puzzles. Social Studies Paragraph. Mathematics Our Mathematics textbook is called Connected Mathematics 2. This book involves a discovery technique for learning math. Our 8 units we cover are Prime Time (prime numbers), Bits and Pieces I, II, & III (fractions and decimals), Shapes and Design (tessellations and shapes), Covering & Surrounding (area), How Likely Is It? (Probability), and Data About Us (data and graphs).
